I love new fresh art supplies from Hobby Lobby, with my 40% off coupon, especially! I love sketching the children, watercolor painting their portraits, trying out new paper and medium. I got so excited this year because we made a real art studio out of a "den". It is an upstairs room between 2 bedrooms. I painted it purple (!), and added a yard sale round black table and chairs, a discount futon, and a full priced wonderful fluffy black area rug! We will go up there where the woodstove heat draws up come school time, and have part of my favorite Charlotte Mason time: listening to classics on audio (comfy futon and rug), painting and drawing (round table), and handcrafts (2 yard sale sewing machines in an L-shaped cove.) I love this blog...one of my faves. But I see we converge on this topic of hymns! I spent 12 years singing hymns and hymns only at a Baptist church, so I know them intimately. I also know their origins. The story behind the hymn writer, the meaning behind the hymn. Don't get me wrong. I love most praise and worship music including some of the ones you mentioned, too. I can't wait to see pictures! It was funny, my sister was just in Georgia this last week at Northpoint Church for a conference, and I was saying I'd love to come with her to meet the Knucker Hatch mom I have so grown to love!! Anyways, having 3 golden apples of my own, not to mention a full time daycare, it wasn't to be...Glad to hear that going to Mac may be an interesting change...maybe we'll stick with the regular computer... Sounds awesome!! I can’t wait to see pictures! Caroline was born on April 10th and she is doing wonderfully. She looks a lot like Faith did when she was a baby but with much less of the maintenance. Ha! I promise to get my tail back on this blog soon. It actually has less to do with 5 kids and more to do with the fact that we went to Macs in our house and a brand new camera around Christmas which put me at a screeching halt with some photo software that I love to use, and learning how to work a Mac.
